Still remember the Minebea Cool Leaf keyboard concept that we posted last year? The ultra-thin keyboard is now available for purchase. The Cool Leaf is a flat mirror-like panel keyboard that adopts Toray Industries Inc’s half mirror-type film made with a new material, a capacitive touch panel and a light guide plate-type backlight. When the power is off, the surface is like a mirror. But, when the surface is touched to turn on the power, it shows letters and numbers. The Minebea Cool Leaf keyboard will go on sale on May 13, 2011.
